Akan-Sere(Akzhigit Koramsauly) (1843-1913) - akyn, composer. He glorified the reality of the heartfelt lyric songs, working at the same time as composer, poet and virtuoso performer. He composed many lyric songs: «Syrymbet», «Makpal», «Karamar», «Akkoilek», «Aktokti», «Perizat», «Ai kok» among others. His songs paint pictures of falconry, long journeys, and the image of fast ambler. They are full of gaiety, life, slyness, and also sad and soft heartfelt warm sounds which have spread all over          Kazakhstan, becoming   loved   and very popular. In Kazakh literature the image of the poet, composer and singer set the basis for the creation of a novel, dramas, poems and many verses. To the life and creative work of Akhan-sere there was dedicated the opera              «Akhan-sere-Aktokti»              by S.Mukhamedzhanov.
