Zhumaniazov Bazarbai - composer, honoured Art Worker of the Republic Kazakhstan, professor. Born 1936 in the Uralsk. Graduated from Kurmangazy Almaty State Conservatory (the class of Professor Ye.Brusilovsky). Love for his country is the main theme of Zhumaniazov’s work. These are cantatas: «Zemlya», «Druzhba», «Cantata о Rodine», «Moya neobyatnaya Rodina». B.Zhumaniazov also created the opera «Makhambet», the vocal and symphonic poem «Pesnya о moem narode», the symphonic portrait «Steppe», the symphonic kiui «Radost»; a suite for symphonic orchestra, ballets and a great number of songs and romances; music for the                 dramatic performance «Syrymbet salasynda» to the play by Sh.Khusainov, «Shuga» by B.Mailin and others. The music to the documentary and television films «Mukhtar-aga», «Druzhb о i okrylennye», «Muslima» and other. B.Zhumaniazov can be called rightly one of the most brilliant composers in Kazakhstan.
