Khasangaliev Eskendir - singer (lyric baritone), composer, People’s Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Born in 1940 in the Urals. Graduated from the Vocals and Choral Department of Kurmangazy Alma-Ata State Conservatory (under E.Vinogradova and N.Sharipova, and Al-Farabi Shymkent Institute of Culture. Since 1970 has been a soloist of Kazakh Radio and              Television. Khasangaliev’s performance is notable for a high professional level. He is the author of popular               songs performed by famous variety singers of Kazakhstan. Khasangaliev’s songs «Ademi», «Asyl arman», «Omirimnin zhazy», «Atameken» are loved not only in Kazakhstan but abroad too. Khasangaliev’s creative activity is characterised by the multiplicity of themes, different approach to material presentation. He composes music to the verses by Kazakh, Russian, Uigur, Tartar, and German poets.
