Aubakirova Zhanya - pianist. People’s Artist of Kazakhstan, international competition prizewinner, and professor. In 1998 was given the honorary title of Cavalier of Art and Literature of France. Born 1957 in Alma-Ata. In 1979 graduated from Chaikovski Conservatory in Moscow and in 1981 a graduate student (under Professor L.N.Vlasenko). Since 1998 he has been rector of Kurmangazy Almaty State Conservatory.She leads big enlightenment and performing activity. There are compositions of foreign and home classics, modern composers of the neighbouring and far foreign countries and also Kazakhstani composers in the pianist’s rich and various repertoires. For the purpose of popularising classical art, in 1998 Aubakirova created the musical agency «Classics» in order to provide publicity and entrance         for young         gifted Kazakhstani musicians on to the big concert stage.
