Murzabekova Gaukhar - violinist. People’s Artist of Kazakhstan, professor at Kurmangazy Almaty State Conservatory. Born in 1956 in Almaty. In 1980 graduated from Moscow Conservatory (violin class of Professor D.F.Oistrakh and O.V.Krysa). From 1986 - soloist at Jambul Kazakh State Philharmonic Society. From 1998 - founder, director, artistic leader and soloist of the ensemble of classical music «Kamerata». The repertoire of G.Murzabekova includes the works by Beethoven, Brams, Prokofyev and many Kazakh composers. Generous emotion, openness of expression, artistic will and active fantasy are all traits of Gaukhar’s creative manner. Her interpretations are breathtaking virtuoso performances with a sincerity of feeling and full of romantic passion.
