Rymbaeva Roza - singer. People’s Artist of Kazakhstan, prizewinner at international competitions. Born in 1957 in Semipalatinsk Region. Graduated from the Musical and Dramatic Comedy Department of the Theatre and Artistic Institute in Almaty. During 1976-1979 she was a soloist of «Gulder» Republican Youth and Variety ensemble, since 1979 a soloist of «Arai» variety ensemble within the «Kazakhconcert» association. She won international recognition by performing S.Baiterekov’s song «Alya». The compositions of Kazakh modern composers are a success in her performing among listeners - «Tsveti, rodnaya zemlya (Flourish Native Land)» by T.Ereshev, «Kua   bol»    by   N.TIendiev,    «Aigolek»    by B.Baikadamov, «Atameken»              by Zh.Tuyakbaev, «Otandastar» by T.Sarybaev. In her peculiar interpretation the folk songs sound such as «Bir bala», Saulem-ai», «Kebek», «Nazkonyr», «Agugai» etc. R.Rymbaeva is well known as film actress too.
