Khalilambekova Khorlan - singer (lyrico-coloratura soprano), People’s Artist of Kazakhstan. Born in 1945, in Balkhash, Graduated from Karaganda Musical School and from Kurmangazy Almaty State Conservatory Vocals Department (the class of N.D.Yumasheva). In 1977-1978 she had training at Sophia State Folk Opera Theatre under the guidance of People’s Artist of Bulgaria Professor A.Naidenov. Khalilambekova is a soloist of Abai Kazakh State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre, where she performs the main parts in the operas «Yevgeni Onegin”.  «lolanta» by Chaikovski, «Traviata» by Verdi, «Chio-Chio-San» by Puchini, «Kamar sulu» and «Alpamys» by Rakhmadiev and others. Khorlan Khalilambekova debuted the roles of Katya and Aktokti («Akhan-sere-Aktokti» by S.Mukhamedzhanov).
