Djumabaeva Kalamkas was born 1980 in Almaty. In 1987 she entered K. Baiseitova Republican Musical School (Violin Class). During her studies she took part in concerts together with the State Academic Symphonic Orchestra of the Republic Kazakhstan and the State chamber «Soloists’ academy» orchestra. The First International A. Zhubanov Festival prizewinner (Almaty, 1994), prizewinner of the Eighth Republican Competition of Young Performers (Almaty, 1997, Grand Prize), M.Striharge and B.Vicle Violin Competition prizewinner (Almaty, 1998). At present she studies at Kurmangazy Almaty State Conservatory in the Orchestral Department as a first-year student (the class of G.Murzabekova)
