Raimkulova Aktokty - composer. Graduated from Kurmangazy Almaty State Conservatory in two piano (under Professor Zh.Aubakirova) and composition (under G.Zhubanova). Still studying at school, since 10, started to compose music. She tried to express her feelings through the creative work. Her first creations were simple, but very sincere: the songs «Anazhan», «Papazhan», «Koktem sensin - tugan el», the plays          for          piano
«Prelude», «Osennyia melodyia (Fall Melody)» violin plays etc. When she became a professional composer, Raimkulova is the successor of the Kazakh professional compositional school traditions. She composed music to the dramatic performances: «Songy sezim» (1994), «Tuzdy Shol» (1995), «Enlik-Kebek», «Abai» (1996), «Karakoz» (1997), «Abylai khan», «Kain - adamnyn uly» (1998) for Auezov Kazakh State Academic Dramatic Theatre, Zhezkazgan Drama Theatre and others. Aktokty composes many vocal compositions. People’s     artists     of     RK     R.Rymbaeva,
M.Zhunusova, N.Eskalieva, S.Tynyshtygulova and others perform her songs. Raimkulova constantly seeks new forms and ways of self-expression in music. In 1992 she was taught computer music in Les Atelieuz URIC Center in France. Participated in the «The Gaudeamuz Wusici International Young Composers» in 1991 in Amsterdam. In 1994 Raimkulova took an apprenticeship at the Kurmangazy Almaty State Conservatory in the class of USSR People’s Artists Professors G.Zhubanova and E.Rakhmadiev. Aktokty is at the beginning of great creative journey, but she is already well known as the talented innovator.
