Kelberg Abatoli Vitalievich - musical expert, lecturer. Born 1929, in Leningrad. In 1951 graduated from Kurmangazy Alma-Ata State conservatory (the class of Prof. P.V.Aravin), where he taught the history of music to 1959. Since 1959 until now - lecturer. Kelberg is the ardent propagandist of classic and modern foreign, Kazak and Russian music, consummate master of oratory. Kelberg conducts an active lecturing work at the radio, television, at all the organisations, where the remarkable narrator is invited, in order to listen to the favourite, familiar and unknown musical compositions with very interesting comments by him. Keenly commenting on significant events of the times, Kelberg regularly deals with musical life of the country. A particular position in his lectures the popularisation of Kazak modern music takes place, revealing the urgent problems of composing and performing creative work.
