Uran. The uran is a wind instrument used by the warriors. Two tubes of different length have three play holes each. It is made on the basis of the illustration by musician and researcher A.Eihgorn, who saw this instrument in 1880s on the territory of Kazakhstan. The Turkic peoples had wind instruments in extreme antiquity. Researchers pointed out the eastern origin of wind instruments, which were discovered among Central Asian peoples. The ancient wind instruments had no playing holes. They were used only for giving signals. With the appearance of the holes on the tube the wind instruments considerably enrich their technical potentials.
